THE TWO AMAZING EXPEDITIONS OF THE REPLICA SHIP FROM 600 BC

The Phoenician Ship sailed 30 thousand nautical miles on two amazing expeditions.

First circumnavigating the African Continent from 2008 to 2010.

Starting in August 2008, Phoenicia sailed over 20 thousand nautical miles, stopping on 13 countries on 3 continents, with 50 volunteers from 15 different countries, to prove that an ancient report from Herodotus, the Father of History, could be true. Mission accomplished after 2 years and 2 months.

Crossing the Atlantic Ocean, from Tunisia to Florida, from 2019 to 2020.

The same Phoenician Ship sailed from Tunisia, in the North of Africa, in September 2019, stopping in Algeria, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, the Canary Islands, and across the Atlantic Ocean, until they reached the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. From there they sailed to Florida, in the US, in February 2020. The expedition proved that ancient mariners had the means to reach the Americans millennia before the Europeans.
